Without Dark You Cannot Have Light

So Saturday is the big day.. when we officially move in. Thats the day we have the truck and move all the big shit and all the boxes we've failed to get there before then lol. Yesterday was insane. Monday night (into Tuesday) Taj didn't get home until almost 330 am we didn't get to bed til almost 430 am.... at 730 am (on Tuesday, yesterday) we had to be up in order to be at the new house by 830 am to wait for the bed to arrive. While there Taj mowed the front yard inside the fence and out and found out just how massive it is.... it was also 91 degrees F (I think thats 33ish degrees C?) While he cut the grass I caulked the tub, the window, and the bathroom vanity. I also painted the inside of the linen closet which was no fun at all.. BUT the white paint (as opposed to dark green almost black that was in there) changed the linen closet from creepy to perfectly normal lol. Thank Goodness.

Then the bed showed up... and the dillard's drivers struck out for the day. First they parked in the middle of a one way street, directly across from a police officer's house... said officer made them move. While they moved the truck, they left the king sized box springs.. leaning... against the NEIGHBOR's van strike two, then while parking the truck for the second time they took off the top of the other neighbor's tree, STRIKE THREE. Oh my goodness... then in the house they whammed the box spring into our freshly painted wall , I think I would have gone postal if they'd nicked it.

So we finished that up rushed home and busted our asses to pack the living room and all the pictures off the walls... get the car packed and get back to the new house to meet my parents there by 5. We got there and Taj and my Dad edged the sidewalk from house to street and realized it was larger than we knew, it was overgrown.... it was 99 degrees F at that point (roughly 38 degrees C) so those two were dying. We of course unpacked the car, hung up a couple things in the new house, and mom and I dressed the bed, then we all piled into our cars and went to dinner.. got home around 830ish? yea..... long and impossibly draining day.

On top of all that Taj had to be at work at 9 am to cover someone else's open shift... the store was trashed and he was stuck there for 3 hours instead of the one they had asked for.. AND he has to go back and close tonight 530-1 am ish. Holy crap we're tired...

While he's gone I've gotta pack the kitchen tonight and the office. Tomorrow he's off and we have to pack the bedroom and leftovers and... the BIG PROJECT we have to go through every box in the basement and see what we can trash and what we can maybe compact.... So many boxes down there... so don't wanna do that. Oh tomorrow is BO's surgery day too :( We're so worried about our little guy. He's so stressed about the move already and now this, poor baby.

But yea.. if you've wondered where we've been.... this is where we've been lol.
